Oh Lakewood High we sing to thee, and happy days recall.
As we look back upon the years, these were the best of all.
The L-Room we all love, the friends we hold so dear
Will last within our memories, though we be far or near.

*Our sophomore year seemed so confused, we learned our way around.
We watched the seniors graduate, as they were college bound.
Our junior year arrived, and soon had passed us by.
We now became the seniors in the halls of Lakewood High.

Our senior year has reached its end, we're now to graduate.
We hope that Lakewood will recall our Class of '58.
The teachers have been kind, they've given us the key
To future opportunities, Lakewood High we sing to thee!

(*The second verse is not heard in the recording.)
