MESSAGES FROM CLASSMATES WHO COULDN'T ATTEND THE 2018 REUNION

RICHARD MARCIS

Here's a Champagne toast to my LHS classmates of '58. Sorry I couldn't make the 60th reunion but I plan to be there for the next get-together.

Best regards

KAY WINTER MORRISON

Wishing all of my classmates a Happy 60th reunion. Sorry we will not be able to attend but we are very busy with our family. We have two children, six granddaughters, 2 great granddaughters and one great grand son. My husband and I have been married 58 years and are enjoying our retirement.

LYNNE LYMAN

Hi everyone! So sorry I won't be attending this time – due to current/ongoing health issues. I'm basically " OK " but just don't have the energy to get organized & get on a plane for a 2500 mile cross-country trip, much as my spirit wishes to do so.... My issues are not life-threatening so far (knock on wood) but nevertheless are rather life-disruptive, in several ways.

I'm so sad not to be with all of you to give you hugs and smiles for all of our friendships and history from long ago. When I think of it, gosh, some of those friendships go back as far as Kindergarten or even before, at Lincoln School! I do hope you'll also play my Class of '58 Senior Class Song somehow, at least one more time (composed all of it at age 17 !!!)

So, sending good and loving wishes to all of you – and take GOOD care!!

KATHI LIMOGES

I cannot make the reunion to my regret. I will be headed to Portugal to my delight. I will miss seeing everyone, but I know it will be a great time.

GARY BLOOMFIELD

Wishing you a happy 60th reunion. Sorry I will not be with you as I have recently developed a medical problem that does not allow me to travel all the way from the Pacific Northwest.

ELAINE MANVILLE trAXLER

I am sorry that I will not be attending our 60th high school reunion in September.

I am a retired nursing supervisor of 40 years, live in Naples, Florida, and enjoying my retirement. I have one daughter and one granddaughter. My husband died some years ago.

I hope all of you are enjoying your retirements and living good lives. I will always remember Lakewood High School and all our fond memories!

GEORGE KIMMEL

Unfortunately, my wonderful wife & I will not be with you because of the intervening descent of dementia that I am dealing with. I would be happy to talk to my classmates, but my ability to speak understandable sentences has waned (rotted). I have enjoyed a hurricane of memories creating this letter to you today. Please enjoy our 60th Reunion. With love & friendship to all of the GREAT Class of 1958.

ALLISON KYLE KERR

I'm very sorry that I will not be able to attend the 60th reunion. We have a long-planned trip to Europe that starts the day after. I really enjoyed the 55th and hope to come to the 65th! We are moving to Denver to be closer to our daughter and her family.

SANDRA RUBIN KENNEY

Really disappointed that I can't make it to the Reunion because or obligations at home. Still actively at work as a web designer, take care of about 20 feral cats in the neighborhood (catch 'em, fix 'em and feed em), as well as three indoor cats, and am healthy and have great friends! I'll miss seeing you all!
